THE RANCH WAS under strict game management ever since we purchased it in 1999.
The ranch included 2985 acres of premium habitat, including an expanded watering system, rotational grazing with cattle, food plots, and selective brush removal, when it was sold in May, 2017. The ranch conducted annual helicopter surveys, cull buck and doe harvest that maintained a 1.2:1 buck to doe ratio, free choice protein supplementation, and importation of superior genetics. The successful management practices had exceeded our expectations as total B&C scores continued to improve yearly, creating one of the best whitetail hunting ranches in Texas.
