Elk Hunts
This will be our fourth year to lease 4800 acres of private land in Dolores County. This property is surrounded on three sides by a 12,000+ acre of the Lone Mesa State Park. We have seen some really good bull elk, but this area is not know for huge bulls, just good representative Colorado elk.
Archery Hunts ($4750)
September 2nd- 30th
Muzzleloader ($4750)
Sept. 11-19 (draw only)
Rifle Hunts ($4750)
1st Rifle Oct. 16-20 (draw only, but there is a good chance on drawing the first year for a private land license)
2nd Rifle Oct. 30- Nov. 7
3rd Rifle Nov. 13-19
4th Rife Nov. 24-28 (draw only, but there is a good chance on drawing the first year for a private land license)
All hunts are full five days of hunting. Lodging will be in a RV/tent camp and meals are provided. Airport shuttle can be arranged to Montrose/Durango for $150/each way. Caping and caring of trophies is included. Quartering of meat to be placed in coolers or taken to processor is also included.
Out of state license is $688.26. A bear tag may be able to be purchased for $101.75 (bear trophy fee is $2000). Non-hunting guest are welcome for $200/day including lodging and food.
