Enjoy the Spring Turkey Season this year by calling in your Rio Grande gobbler at the Whispering Water Ranch and Resort. The last several years range conditions have produced above average hatches. An abundance of turkey plus an extensive feeding program produces an excellent opportunity for calling in that “ole Tom.”

your 2009 spring gobbler hunt includes

Two gobblers.
Self-guided by calling, walking or stand hunting.
Three full days of hunting.
Three nights lodging in our rustic decor cabin.
Texas style meals served in our custom home and hunting lodge.
Trophy preparation
Fishing for trophy bass, catfish and perch in our 3-acre spring-fed lake.

price

$1000 per hunter
Non-hunting guests are welcome to stay with you for $150/day. Includes lodging and meals.
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your hunt. We can hold your reservation for 10 days awaiting your non-refundable deposit.
Transportation to and from either San Antonio or San Angelo airports can be arranged for $150 per person.

Welcome

I was fortunate to grow up 90 miles from here and started hunting with my father at the age of 4. While in high school, I started managing whitetail deer here in Menard County on a friend’s ranch. I have been interested and involved with raising trophy whitetail by developing pristine habitat and superior genetics ever since.

As my hunting interest grew and my skills developed, I had opportunities to hunt numerous other species. I have hunted all over the world on a variety of different hunts from do-it-yourself to fully guided. I know what is expected and know what it takes to offer a great quality hunt.

My family and I specialize in the individual or small group of hunters. We focus on quality not quantity. We take notice to every detail and can promise you a memorable experience. We do this because we love it!
