The Whispering Water Ranch & Resort has it’s own spring fed lake that encompasses 3 acres of surface water. The limestone bottoms and outcrops create a photographic setting. The south shore has been lined with rock and concrete next to a bermuda grass shore with pecan and oak trees.
The lake was stocked with Florida hybrid black bass, channel catfish and hybrid bluegill perch upon purchase of the ranch. The native fish along with the stocked fish offer much excitement whether you have a fly rod or spinning rod in your hand.
Fishing Packages Available: $100 per night per use of cabin, pool & outdoor kitchen, plus $25/day/person for fishing.

I was fortunate to grow up 90 miles from here and started hunting with my father at the age of 4. While in high school, I started managing whitetail deer here in Menard County on a friend’s ranch. I have been interested and involved with raising trophy whitetail by developing pristine habitat and superior genetics ever since.
As my hunting interest grew and my skills developed, I had opportunities to hunt numerous other species. I have hunted all over the world on a variety of different hunts from do-it-yourself to fully guided. I know what is expected and know what it takes to offer a great quality hunt.
My family and I specialize in the individual or small group of hunters. We focus on quality not quantity. We take notice to every detail and can promise you a memorable experience. We do this because we love it!
