Deer Hunting

The ranch has been under strict game management since it was purchased in 1999. The ranch now includes 2000 acres of premium habitat including an expanded watering system, rotational grazing with cattle, food plots, and selective brush removal. The ranch conducts bi-annual helicopter surveys, cull buck and doe harvest to maintain a 1.2:1 buck to doe ratio, free choice protein supplementation, and importation of superior genetics. Successful management practices have exceeded our expectations as total B&C scores continue to improve yearly.

your 2008 trophy whitetail buck hunt includes

One mature (5½ years or older) Trophy buck.
One turkey (either sex).
Three full days of hunting.
Three nights lodging in our beautifully furnished cabin.
Texas style meals served in our custom home & hunting lodge.
Trophy preparation.
Fishing for bass, catfish and perch in our 3-acre spring-fed stocked lake.

price based on trophy buck size

130" up to but not including 140" gross B&C – $3,500
140" up to but not including 150" gross – $4,500
150" up to but not including 160" gross – $6,000
160" up to but not including 170" gross – $7,500
170" up to but not including 180" gross – $9,000
180" up to but not including 190" gross – $12,500
190" up to but not including 200" gross – $17,000
200" and above gross B&C to be negotiated.

Non-hunting guests are welcome to stay with you for $150/day. Includes lodging and meals.
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your hunt. We can hold your reservation for 10 days awaiting your non-refundable deposit.
Transportation to and from San Antonio or San Angelo airports can be arranged for $150 per person.
Add a Management buck to your package for $1750 extra.

I was fortunate to grow up 90 miles from here and started hunting with my father at the age of 4. While in high school, I started managing whitetail deer here in Menard County on a friend’s ranch. I have been interested and involved with raising trophy whitetail by developing pristine habitat and superior genetics ever since.

As my hunting interest grew and my skills developed, I had opportunities to hunt numerous other species. I have hunted all over the world on a variety of different hunts from do-it-yourself to fully guided. I know what is expected and know what it takes to offer a great quality hunt.

My family and I specialize in the individual or small group of hunters. We focus on quality not quantity. We take notice to every detail and can promise you a memorable experience. We do this because we love it!
